From the moment we first heard about the Winnie biopic staring Jennifer Hudson, Winnie Mandela made it known in more ways than one that she was not happy about the movie.
However, in a recent interview with CNN’s Nadia Bilchik, Winnie Mandela made it clear, ” I have absolutely nothing against Jennifer, but I have everything against the movie itself”. Ms. Mandela went on the say that she was never consulted about the movie.
Producers of the film maintain that the movie is based on the book ‘Winnie Mandela: A Life’ and therefore they did not need to consult Ms. Mandela.
