Confirmed Producers & Writers for Jennifer Hudson’s New Album

As you know by now Jennifer Hudson is gearing up the her sophomore album which as of now is set to be release sometime in November. Jennifer and her label J Records have been hard at work on the album since October of 2009 which is when she started finally record new tracks.

First list of names of who all Jennifer is working with came from none other than Jennifer herself via her official twitter account @IAMJHUD when she mentioned Ne-Yo (who penned “Spotlight” & “Can’t Stop The Rain”) had submitted songs. Ne-Yo himself also mentioned that he was very involved in her second project and that he could be Executive Producing it. Also via twitter Jennifer confirmed studio time with singer John Legend & producers Stargate. Producer Rich Harrison (Crazy In Love) confirmed via his twitter that he has produced a couple of songs for Jenn’s new LP.

More added to the list who have been confirmed by Larry Jackson (Jennifer’s A&R Manager) include Claude Kelly, Hit-Boy, & Ryan Tedder. Jackson also reveled via his own twitter that label mate Alicia Keys & producer/rapper Swizz Beatz have submitted  a song over the weekend to go along with Jennifer’s new LP. Harvey Mason Jr. confirmed on his twitter (who penned Invisible) that he had studio time with Jenn in South Africa while she was filming her new movie “Winnie”. Rapper/Producer Missy Elliot let it spill last week actually that she was finishing up a new track for the Jennifer. Elliot produced Jennifer’s Grammy Nominated song “I’m His Only Woman”. Jennifer herself seems to be more hands on with this album as she has penned a song for herself title “I Remember Me”. Jennifer did not contribute to writing at all on her debut album.

There you have it these are ALL of the confirmed writers and producers thus far who have contributed to Jennifer sophomore album. It is not known as of now who’s tracks have made the final cut. We here at JHud Daily are excited to see what she brings to the table.
