This morning Variety revealed that Terrence Howard will play Nelson Mandela in “Winnie,” joining Jennifer Hudson as Winnie Mandela.
The screenplay, which is based on the book “Winnie Mandela: A Life” by Anne Marie du Preez Bezdrob has been met some controversy amongst South African’s and Ms. Mandela.
Filming of “Winnie” is set to begin on May 31 in various locations around South Africa.
